How long does a session last ?

How does Luminette work ?
- Blue-enriched white light emitted by 8 LED enters the eye through a pattented diffraction system and penetrates the lower part of the retina, a zone rich in photoreceptors.
- Once activated the photoreceptors will send information via the optic nerve to the regulator of our biological clock (the suprachiasmatic nucleus).
- The supra-chiasmic nucleus reads this information and activating our body’s positive response to light: the pineal gland will stop secreting melatonin (the sleep hormone) and will start producing awakening hormones, like cortisol and dopamine. We can start the day full of energy.
